Replaced historical marker is dedicated in Orange Mound

April 12, 2014 — Tyler Glover, the Honorary "Mayor of Orange Mound” joins other leaders from the neighborhood and city to dedicate a new historical marker at the Orange Mound Community Services Center. The original sign went missing several years ago. Orange Mound is the first community in Memphis that was developed for and by African-Americans.
